Vajra tibétain

The Tibetan Vajra, also known as Dorje in Tibetan, is a sacred ritual object in Buddhism and Hinduism. It symbolizes the indestructible power of enlightenment and the unity of dualities, such as wisdom and compassion. The Vajra is frequently used in rituals, ceremonies, and meditations to dispel negative energies and provide spiritual protection.

The Vajra typically features a central sphere with two ends that branch into four or five prongs, representing the five Buddha wisdoms. In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Vajra is often paired with a Ghanta (ritual bell), where the Vajra symbolizes masculinity and method, while the bell represents femininity and wisdom. Together, they signify the perfect balance required for spiritual enlightenment.
